Biggest Loser Challenge

The Biggest Loser Challenge is based on the TV show and is a healthy, competitive way to lose weight. Last year there were over 90 participants that joined the program to improve their health and take advantage of everything that was available to them. Participants were offered multiple boot camps every week as well as nutritional classes along with the option to take advantage of our Community Centers which offer cardio rooms and weight rooms at no cost to the public.
This year the BLC is back and has even more options to help participants lose weight, get active, and to go into the new year as the best versions of themselves. Our very own personal trainer, Kelsey Gilbert, and the creator of this program, has invited a variety of health professionals to teach classes and help with training. The ever changing program keeps things exciting and offers a wide range of exercises including weight lifting, stretching and recovery, running, yoga, cross fit, self defense and more! We are pleased to have officers from the Charleston Police Department joining us for the Blue Line Boot Camp this year as well. The goal is to not just lose weight for the program, but to teach you how to maintain it after it's over and to equip you to live a better life. If you would like a space in this year's Biggest Loser Challenge email kelsey.gilbert@cityofcharleston.org. Go into 2018 healthier and get active CWV.
